Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search
A name, place, or other term entered in a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates the search. Santa Barbara County Recent Arrests does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or contact message, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share the message outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff, city police, courts, corrections systems, custody tools, government portals, news sources, or outside search providers. Once a visitor leaves, the destination's privacy policy governs its collection and use of data.
Advertising partners may use their own technology to recognize activity across different sites and select interest-based ads. That tracking occurs on the partner's systems and is controlled by its policies.
